MOREnet

MOREnet is both a data network as well as a human network providing assistance to Missouri’s public sector entities related to broadband infrastructure design and engineering, as well as expertise in federal broadband funding programs and policies.

About

The Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet) provides Internet connectivity, access to Internet2, technical and video services, online resources, support and technical training to Missouri’s public sector entities, including K-12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, health care, government and other affiliated organizations. MOREnet staff have expertise in broadband infrastructure design and engineering, as well as expertise in federal broadband funding programs and policies including E-rate, Healthcare Connect Fund, etc. We house the State E-rate Coordinator for Missouri and have helped to bring more than $140M in federal E-rate funding to our eligible Missouri school and library members since 1998. We are available as a resource to communities and groups who would benefit from our expertise in these areas and stand ready to help as needed.
